The Sad Reason Most People Never Find A Mentor

The sad reason most people never find a mentor. A real mentorship is where you put your full trust in someone else. You forgo your ego, you give up trying to prove how great you are, you throw caution to the wind and you, literally, follow them around. You soak up everything from them — even the way they open doors for people, or order their dinner. You embody what it means to be an actual apprentice by stepping into their shoes. You walk with them. You talk with them. And you learn from them by following in their footsteps, day after day after day.

The reason most people never experience all the joys of a true mentorship is because they don’t have the guts to walk in someone else’s shoes — that’s the truth.
